Work hard. Be kind.
My philosophy is simple: work hard and be kind.
Nonprofit work is meaningful, rewarding, and rarely easy. The needs are great, the resources are often limited, and there is always more that could be done. I know firsthand what it’s like to balance ambitious goals with limited time, budgets, and capacity. That’s why I believe in working hard, staying focused on what matters most, and finding practical solutions that move the mission forward.
But working hard is only half of it.
At its heart, nonprofit work is about people and relationships. Whether we’re engaging donors, serving clients, collaborating with colleagues, working with volunteers, or building partnerships in the community, how we treat people matters. Kindness means listening well, communicating honestly, respecting different perspectives, and remembering that there is a person behind every conversation, decision, gift, and story.
I believe you can be strategic and compassionate. You can set high expectations and still lead with grace. You can pursue big goals without losing sight of the people who make them possible.
Do good work. Treat people well. Leave organizations and relationships stronger than you found them.
That’s the kind of nonprofit professional - and person - I strive to be.

In nonprofit work, building trust is paramount. I hold myself to a high standard, and I will do the same for you and your organization. I will always represent your organization in a way that demonstrates honesty and good moral character.

Nonprofit organizations are held accountable by their constituents, and as an extension of your team, you can trust I will deliver products and services that meet your standards and expectations. Together, we can do great things!
Transparency
Organizations build trust through transparency, especially in nonprofit work. My commitment to you is the same: I will always be up front with what I can deliver, projected outcomes and cost, and what is expected of you and your team during the process.
Compassion
As someone who was embedded in nonprofit organizations for 20+ years, I have much compassion for the staff and understand what it feels like to work within an environment fueled by passion. I get it because I've been there, and I'm here to help.
