My Philosophy
I have a simple philosophy: Work hard; be kind.
In the nonprofit world, the work is never truly done. There is always a growing demand for programs and services to support our communities. Nonprofit staff and volunteers pour their hearts into meeting these needs, often stretched thin by limited time and resources. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance high demand with scarce resources.

At its core, nonprofit work is built on relationships—whether with clients, donors, community members, service providers, government agencies, or funders. It requires compassion, active listening, and a deep understanding of the unique experiences that connect people to your mission. Leading with kindness fosters trust, strengthens connections, and ultimately helps advance the important work nonprofits do every day.
